The Latest

Hand Food | It’s that time of year when everything is dry, dry, dry – especially my hands. I have loved Soap and Glory products ever since I first started using them in 2014 while I was studying abroad in London. The signature scent brings me right back to my time in the UK, so not only do their lotions and soaps make my skin feels super soft, but I get a nice dose of happy nostalgia as well. Hand Food is S&G’s hand cream, and I cannot say enough good things about it. It smells so good – a little citrus, a little sweet, fresh but also really girly. I will say that if you aren’t a fan of strong scents, you may not like it. However, it makes my hands feel so hydrated and soft. No lasting greasy feeling, but it really does the trick it keeping my hands feel supple and healthy. I am a bit of a germaphobe, especially at this time of year, so I am constantly washing my hands and Hand Food has saved the day on more than one occasion!

Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream | Again, a dry skin saver. It’s probably old news at this point that the Eight Hour Cream is the QUEEN of bringing your lips (or hands, or anything!) back to life. Not only does this rehydrate and help heal my chapped lips, but it is also a great barrier against freezing temperatures and harsh winds.

Vanderpump Rules | I am completely and irrevocably ADDICTED. I was introduced to this show by my sister-in-law only a month or two ago. I had heard of it before but had never tuned in. Well, now I have started and can’t stop. I even got my husband hooked (he denied it for a while but now he gets mad when I watch an episode without him!). It’s on Hulu and we have quickly made our way to the end of season 4. There are so many reasons why I love it, but honestly, it cracks me up. HIGHLY recommend :).

Class Pass | I started up this year with a free trial and have decided to renew! I really do enjoy fitness classes. Sometimes I want to do my own thing, or follow along with a Tone It Up video in my living room, but then other times I need the motivation of being around other people and an instructor telling me to keep going. Additionally, I have found some real gems during the free trial! My friend found an amazing dance class down in the Garment District that a bunch of us went to together. I like to call it “sassy dancing” as the class includes choreography to pop and hip-hop, lots of girl power stuff and booty shaking. So fun. Also, this weekend I went to my first ever barre class. It was really good but I am soooo sore. The class hit so many muscle groups and really targeted certain areas to make sure you felt the burn. I definitely plan on going back!
